ReNesting Resources, Inc. is founded on a commitment to provide practical and personalized services and support to older adults and their families as they face either a downsizing transition or an 'in home' modification. We are a 'one source' solution located in Hickory, NC. We cover a 1 hr. distance from Hickory, NC traveling east/west from Asheville to Winston-Salem....and north/south from Boone to Gastonia.
Moving beyond ReNesting's service area? No problem! We partner with other NASMM Senior Move Managers across the country to make sure your move is professionally handled. ReNesting carries appropriate business and liability insurance. The Certificate of Insurance is on file and available upon request. As a member of NASMM, ReNesting is bound by a pledge of integrity, committed to safety and ethics, and dedicated to continuing professional development. Pricing: We have yet to have a job situation that is a duplicate of another....and we never will! This is why we offer an in-home assessment at no charge. We will discuss your particular needs, lifestyle and budget, where you think you would need the most assistance, etc. We will follow up with a detailed proposal listing each service with estimated cost. Another pricing option that many folks like is a package price of 'X' number of hours performing certain tasks like organizing the basement or packing for a move. We're flexible – just tell us what you need and we'll make it happen on time and within budget!
Anne Brock, Founder, has over 35 years in residential and commercial interior design field with a concentration in space planning from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro. From the early years in her career, she helped many clients make downsizing moves even before it became somewhat of a 'trend'. Her attention to detail, sensitivity to client's needs, and effective project management skills result in happily settled clients. Anne's additional experience as a primary caregiver for 18+ years has provided her with a greater understanding of the emotions, decision making, accountability, and patience necessary during this season of life.
Anne organized ReNesting Resources, Inc. in 2004 as a means of offering specialized relocation services for older adults. Age In Place (In Home Modifications) services were later offered as an alternative to relocation. Anne has held membership in the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) since 2004 and has earned the 5 year Circle of Service honor. Since 2007, she has maintained her designation as a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS) meeting eligibility, education and exam requirements. These “Relocation Specialists' are held to insurance, security screening and continuing education standards.
Having an affinity for 'old stuff,' Anne has treasured antiques all her life which led her to pursue her certification in appraisal of antiques/general home contents. She has held membership in the Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA) since 2003.
Anne still lives in her hometown of Hickory, NC where both sides of her family were raised. Her knowledge of local resources is vast – if she's not related to them, then she certainly knows whom to call! "We are moving memories, not just boxes.
